WALKING TOURS IN VANCOUVER

Vancouver DeTours offers acclaimed urban explorations of the social history, architecture, public art, and contemporary processes that make up Vancouver. We provide FREE public tours, customised private tours, educational trips for schools and conferences, guest lectures, and workshops. We have guided over 100,000 visitors, locals, community organisations, foreign dignitaries, students, urban planners, and the occasional dog on learning excursions around the city over the past decade.

We’re strong proponents of experiencing cities through the pedestrian perspective, and our guides offer a unique and unfiltered local’s take on the city. We call our approach “Pedestrian Pedagogy’’, or bringing critical analysis from a street-side perspective, and we work to bring the hidden histories and spaces of Vancouver into view.
