We will be running Mt. Pleasant mural tours on Sundays before and after the festival ends as well West End tours. You can book all tours below.

Mt. Pleasant North Tour
Where: Mt. Pleasant (meet point provided in booking email)
A variation on a very popular route we introduced at the 2023 festival, getting you to the hard to find, hidden from view murals located on the north side of Mount Pleasant.
Take a journey down the backstreets and alleyways to see a varied range of styles: figurative, abstract, surrealism, graffiti and beyond. We will finish at the City Centre Motel. This tour is sure to reveal pieces that you may have missed in this neighbourhood, as well as ones that are new to this year.

Mt. Pleasant Central Tour
Where: Mt. Pleasant (meet point provided in booking email)
Our most popular and longest running festival tour, exploring the important festival spaces of Main Alley and 7/12 Lane.
This tour visits some of our favourite murals from over the years, exploring how visual representation is crucial for under-represented groups in the community, unpacking some of the historic and ongoing socio-economic processes in Mt. Pleasant, and revealing some of the inner workings of the festival.

Mt. Pleasant South Tour
Where: Mt. Pleasant (meet point provided in booking email)
This is a hybrid route of two previous tours that we have done for VMF, taking in a mix of classics, hard to find pieces, and some careful avoidance of the Broadway Skytrain project.
There are some really incredible artists that have painted in this area, both international and local. We’ll see an incredible array of styles as we hop over Main St., from graffiti to surrealism to some head scratchers. This route is offered on a very limited basis for 2024 so be sure to sign up, weekends only.

How much?
Our mural tours are tip based. Our guides work hard curating and leading these tours. We do this out of a passion for keeping community-driven arts accessible to all. If you enjoy your tour please show them your appreciation $. We recommend $10-25 per person.
You can tip at the time of booking or our guides will have square readers with them on tour.
Why do I need a booking?
Bookings will be capped at 25 people per tour. We do this to avoid over-crowding and to ensure the guide is audible for all guests.
Due to the limited number of guests per tour, please be respectful and honour your booking or let us know if you can’t make it in advance.
Accessibility
All tours are wheelchair accessible. The 4pm and 6pm Mt Pleasant Mural Tours do have some up and downhill sections along the Mt. Pleasant slope.
